Do you have unanswered questions around your fertility?
Dr. Chirumamilla has always put patient care first, which has not only boosted the reputations of the organisations she has worked with, but has also given the joy of becoming parents to those to whom such opportunities seemed bleak.
Her average number of procedures done per month is awe-inspiring- consulting an estimate of 100 new patients a month, and conducting over 50 oocyte pickups in the same time frame. A majority of Dr. Lakshmi's patients are those who've faced repeated failure in previous infertility treatment. She also performs her own hysteroscopies- both diagnostic and operative to ensure quality in patient treatment.
Dr. Chirumamilla is also a mentor to a new fellow every year, helping pass on her own abundance of knowledge to the future generation, making her become an integral part in the education of many a doctor. She has assisted many fellows in doing research for presentations in various national and international conferences.
A few examples of topics taken up for the aforementioned credit are 'Post Hysteroscopy Analysis of Outcomes in Patients with Previous IVF Failures ', Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction Annual Conference in Gurgaon 2017; 'Predisposing Factors for Ectopic Pregnancy in ART Cycles', Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of India in Hyderabad 2019.
A research paper that Dr. Chirumamilla had worked on was accepted as a presentation in ASPIRE Conference 2017, regarding 'Day 5 Embryo Transfer vs Day 3 Embryos Cultured to Day 5 Embryo Transfer'. Alongside all these laurels, a case study that she had investigated was also published.
Dr. Chirumamilla is an invited speaker at many national and local level conferences and actively takes part in conducting infertility and IUI workshops for fellow gynecologists.
